By the sacred fire, time has stopped
Forty-fifth spring, a lump in my throat
Grandfather, with a trembling hand, smeared tears on his cheeks
Looking greedily into the blue, and the soul asks for the sky
He lived his life honestly and is not ashamed to retire
Live some more for us, live some more, dear
You looked death in the eyes many, many, many times
Live a little longer, my dear, I beg you for our sake
All over the land, the vast land
The immortal regiment goes forward
We, dear ones, honor and remember you.
And this is our sacred duty
And our memory will not run out
The love for heroes will not die
All over the earth in one column
The immortal regiment is marching forward

Here at the eternal flame, time has stopped again
Everything my grandfather dreamed of was cut short and did not come true
The country has sunk into summer, NATO is fighting against us
This terrible war, if brother goes against brother
For whom medals, orders, Russia mourns without hiding its tears
So war be damned, but the world cannot be saved otherwise
Today we are now in service and our bow to you veterans
Those who did not return are in heaven, and we are patching up the wounds of our souls
All over the land, the vast land
The immortal regiment goes forward
We, dear ones, honor and remember you.
And this is our sacred duty
And our memory will not run out
The love for heroes will not die
All over the earth in one column
The immortal regiment is marching forward

All over the land, the vast land
The immortal regiment goes forward
We, dear ones, honor and remember you.
And this is our sacred duty
And our memory will not run out
The love for heroes will not die
All over the earth in one column
The immortal regiment is marching forward
